What you can see for any TikTok account
TikTok keeps the full analytics dashboard private to the account owner — but a lot is public on every video. For any handle you paste, you can see:
- Top videos — their best-performing TikToks, not just the latest.
- Views, likes, comments and shares on each one.
- Engagement rate — how hard their audience actually reacts.
- Why it worked — the hook and format behind their best video.
How to check your own TikTok analytics
- 1Switch to a Creator or Business account
It’s free. Settings → Account → Switch to a Business/Creator account. This unlocks the analytics tab.
- 2Open analytics
In the app: Profile → menu (☰) → Creator tools → Analytics. On desktop: go to tiktok.com/analytics.
- 3Read the four tabs
Overview (views, followers, profile views), Content (per-video stats and watch time), Followers, and LIVE.
How to see another creator's TikTok stats
You can’t open someone else’s private dashboard — so creators use the public numbers instead. Paste any handle above and you’ll get their top videos and engagement pulled from public data, plus the breakdown of what made their best one work. Doing competitor research at scale? Frequently asked questions
Can you see another creator's TikTok analytics?
Not the private dashboard — TikTok only shows full analytics to the account owner. But every public account exposes views, likes, comments and shares on each video, and a tool like this reads those to show their best performers and the engagement behind them.
How do I check my own TikTok analytics?
Switch to a free Creator or Business account, then open Profile → menu (☰) → Creator tools → Analytics in the app, or go to tiktok.com/analytics on desktop. You’ll see Overview, Content, Followers and LIVE tabs.
Is this TikTok analytics tool free?
Yes — paste a handle or a video link and try it free with no login. There’s a daily limit, and unlimited access is coming with a paid plan.
What’s a good engagement rate on TikTok?
TikTok runs high: around 5% is average, 9%+ is good, and 16%+ is excellent. You can check any video with the engagement rate calculator.
